Biography

Mr. Muzaffar Ali Baig is serving as lecturer in Statistics at University of Chitral, since March 1st, 2018. He did his M. Phil in Statistics from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan in 2019. Earlier, did his Master’s in Statistics from University of Peshawar. Mr. Baig started his career teaching statistics in academia as an internee through National Internship Program (NIP) of the Prime Minister Youth Training Scheme at Department of Statistics, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. Later on, he served at University of Chitral as visiting faculty to teach the subject statistics. His data analyses expertise and engaging various statistical computational software’s such as SPSS, MINITAB, STATA, ORIGIN, R and RStudio in research fields boarded him to publish research articles in various impact factor journals. His passion to acquire information from data accomplished him clutches expert’s skills of data manipulation and statistical modeling in modern programming languages such as R and RStudio. His research focuses on statistical modeling and prediction/forecasting of natural phenomenon’s occurring in environment especially in climate change, development of aesthetic techniques of data visualization, time series and trend analysis, and big data analysis via machine learning and deep learning processes in powerful statistical languages such as R and RStudio.
